Another Saturday goes by...

Heather and I woke up early on Saturday, despite staying up really late the night before. Reason? Heather really wanted to get this papasan chair that she found on Craigslist. So we went and got that, a nice extra chair for the money. Then we came back and made breakfast for everybody (including Ashleigh's friend Audra who arrived Friday night, visiting from Indiana, and our friend Dan, who spent the night on the couch).

Then we headed into town with Heather's friend Heather so that they could turn in some artwork to this art project they are involved with. It's called Art In Hand: Portland, check it out: http://www.artinhandcards.com/portland-project.html. We were also going to go to Portland's Saturday Market (which is a good time), but we didn't make it there in time. Then, Heather and I went to a music festival at a local college. We didn't stay for the whole festival, but what we saw of it was really fun.

Anyways, that's the most excitement we've had in one day for a while. Here's some photos!

Saturday
Portland's tallest building (it would look short in Chicago or NYC).

Saturday
A street in the Pearl District, including the famous "Go By Streetcar" sign.

Saturday
The two Heathers "hero pose" with their works of art.

Saturday
A marsh in a park in the Pearl District.

Saturday

Saturday
The end of Saturday Market for the day...we missed it by about half an hour.

Saturday
