It's hard to believe we have been in Oregon for over two months now! Heather is now employed by AIU Online, an online college. She likes her job, and it is really close to our apartment. I, however, am still looking for work. I've been applying to places, trying to get some leads, and trying not to be too disheartened.
We've done some exploring of the city, and found lots of things we would like to do. It's just a matter of me finding a job so that we will have money to do these things. We've been getting by just fine though.
I don't think either of us have gotten homesick. I just miss people, my family and friends. But we love the area, I think we're going to be here for a while.
